Tasty Chai Recipes using Assam Tea Leaves

Normal Black Tea

Let us start with the basics, i.e., how to make black tea using Assam loose leaf tea. Follow the steps!

Step 1 - Take a large porcelain teapot, pour water in it and start heating the water. A large teapot makes sure that the tea leaves can swirl freely which deliver full flavor

Step 2 - Once that water starts boiling, turn off the heat and add one teaspoon of Assam loose leaf tea for each cup. If you want to enjoy a stronger taste, add more tea leaves per cup.

Step 3- Allow the Assam tea leaves to steep for three to five minutes. You can reduce the brewing time for a cup of mild Assam tea.

Step 4- Once you notice that liquid has turned bright and coppery with a pungent autumn aroma of spices and fruits, know that your tea is ready. Strain the tea in each cup to enjoy a malty, sharp and vigorous flavor.

Step 5 - To add a twist to the flavor, you can add honey or sugar to make the tea sweet. You can also add a bit of milk if you are not a big fan of drinking black tea.
