Make a Smoothie this Summer Using Assam Tea Leaves

Summer season brings bright and long days that show the beauty of can be deduced that during the cold months of winter, plant and animal life is in a state of hibernation, as if the colors and the sounds of nature have vanished. Summer is the season that provides life around us, plants and animals gladly resume to their natural habitat. People dress up with light-colored fabrics to make the warm sun cool. Some fruits, including mangoes and pineapples, ripe during this season, so the individuals can enjoy them at this time. During this season they invent different beverages made from loose leaf tea or fruits to keep themselves cool in this heat. This sums up the beauty of summer.
Although the season brings with it joy and beauty, yet we see a lot of changes the season has gone through. Summers in the past few years has achieved new highs. To escape the heat, many hide behind the comfort of technology while others go out for a swim in the pools. The hottest hours of the day is apparently the midday and mornings while evenings are relatively cool. In spite of complaints about discomfort and high humidity, the season has managed to get a good number of adversaries. 
To beat the sweltering heat this summer, we have come up with some mouth-watering smoothies made from Assam Tea Leaves that will keep you fresh and hydrated throughout the season. 
Vanilla Black Tea Smoothie
  • 1 cup  black tea (Assam Tea) (240 mL)
  • ½ cup  almond milk (120 mL)
  • 1 tablespoon  vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup  plain yogurt (120 g)
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 cup  blueberry (100 g)
  • 2 cups  ice (280 g)
  • sliced almond, for serving

Brew some Assam loose leaf tea to prepare the Black Tea. Wait till it comes down to room temperature. Then add Black Tea, almond milk, protein powder, yogurt, banana, blueberries, and ice into a blender. Blend until smooth. Garnish it with sliced almonds.
The Green Banana
  • 1  banana
  • ½ cup green tea
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar [If required]
  • 1 cup ice
Add Assam green tea, banana, milk, peanut butter, sugar and a cup of ice in a blender. Blend it till the mixture becomes smooth. Refrigerate it for an hour and then serve it cold.
The Orange Crush
  • ¾ cup of frozen mango
  • ½ cup carrot juice
  • ½ cup loose leaf green tea
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon protein powder
  • ½ cup of water
Add a cup of green tea, mango, carrot juice, greek Yogurt and a tablespoon of protein powder in a blender. Blend it until the mixture is smooth and lump free. Refrigerate it for about an hour and then serve it cold.
Berry Tea Smoothie
  • 1 cup brewed black tea (Assam Tea), chilled
  • 1 cup of frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 banana, broken into chunks and frozen
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 3 fresh mint leaves, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Combine tea, berries, pineapple, banana, lemon juice, mint, and honey in a blender. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate it for about an hour. Serve it cold in  a glass or a mason jar and garnish it with mint leaves.
The Blue Monster
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • ½ cup loose leaf green tea
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 3 or 4 cubes of ice
  • 1 Tablespoon flaxseed
Brew some loose leaf green tea and bring it to room temperature. Add the tea, blueberries, yogurt and ice cubes in a blender. Blend it until smooth and then refrigerate it for an hour. Serve it cold and garnished with blueberries.
